Ather provides the best for its urban electric scooter. After successfully launching the Ather 450X, the company introduced a new electric scooter, the Ather Rizta. The Rizta comes in two variants: the S and the Z. The S model has a 2.9 kWh battery, while the top model, the Z, features a 3.7 kWh battery. I purchased the Ather Rizta Z, the top model, for around ₹1.83 lakh during Rath Yatra 2025. After riding it for a month, here is my review of the Problem On Ather Rizta Z
My experience riding the Ather Rizta has been excellent. I have no further expectations; riding the Rizta Z is very comfortable. I use it for nearly 50 to 60 kilometers per day, and it has significantly relieved my back pain. The company’s mono suspension is much better than that of other electric vehicles. One feature that I particularly love is the “Magic Twist,” which represents a new era for braking systems. There’s no need to change the vehicle’s liner anymore, which is a great relief!

I had a very frustrating experience over the last two days with the software of my vehicle. The problem is that when I stop my vehicle after driving, the display freezes. It’s extremely annoying—just look at the image; my vehicle is stopped, yet the display shows a speed of 18 km/h. After about five minutes or when I turn off the scooter, the display starts working perfectly again. I don’t understand why this happens. The company recommends that I shut down my scooter at least once a week to prevent the software from hanging.
That is the main problem with the Ather Riza. If you are the owner of this scooter, please share your experience in the comments.
