The Hero MotoCorp has introduced its new EV segment day by day. Now, the company unveils the Hero Vida VX2 Go and VX2 Plus electric scooters. Both scooters are similar, but the two major differences are battery capacity and range.

Vx2 features two removable batteries with a capacity of 3.4 kWh, providing an IDC range of 142 km or a real-world range of 105 km. It includes a long XXXL seat with a backrest, similar to a family scooter, and offers 27.2 liters of under-seat storage space.

It can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.1 seconds. The top speed is 80 km/h, which is sufficient for daily rides and short highway trips.

This scooter is equipped with a variety of smart features. It includes a 4.3-inch TFT screen that displays speed, battery life, and range. Additionally, it connects to your phone via Bluetooth, allowing you to see calls, messages, and even maps while riding. Extra features such as park assist, geofencing, remote locking, and over-the-air updates enhance its modern feel and safety.

For safety, the VX2 Plus is equipped with a front disc brake and a rear drum brake, featuring a Combined Braking System (CBS). This system ensures a smooth and safe stop, even during sudden braking. Additionally, it has LED headlamps and tail lamps that are bright and energy-efficient, enhancing safety during night rides.

The Vida VX2 Plus is powered by a “dual 3.4 kWh swappable battery pack”. This feature allows you to easily remove the batteries and charge them at home, in the office, or anywhere with a plug point. The “swappable batteries” provide a significant advantage, as you do not need a fixed charging station; you can simply take the battery out like you would when charging your phone.

On a full charge, the VX2 Plus can travel up to “142 km (IDC range)”. In real-world conditions, you can expect around 100 km in Eco mode, 75 km in Ride mode, and 65 km in Sport mode. The scooter supports regular home charging, taking approximately “5 to 6 hours to charge from 0 to 100%”. For a quicker top-up, you can charge from “0 to 80% in about 4 hours”. Additionally, the batteries are “IP67-rated”, meaning they are protected from dust and water, allowing you to use them without concern during the rainy season.
