Last month, in July 2025, Kinetic introduced its new electric model, the Kinetic DX. It features a 2.6 kWh battery capacity and has a design that resembles the classic Kinetic models but with enhancements. The price ranges from approximately ₹1.11 lakh to ₹1.18 lakh. The Kinetic DX is available in two variants: DX and DX+. Kinetic DX
Kinetic Dx Design resembles the old kinetic design but is improved with a more attractive color palette and a kinetic logo that captures the eye. It is available in five colors: Black, Red, Grey, White, and Blue. A 4.8 kW hub-mounted BLDC motor powers the scooter, achieving a maximum speed of 90 km/h. It features cruise control, a digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, and a keyless start system.
The new Kinetic DX features a 2.6 kWh Lithium-Iron-Phosphate (LFP) battery pack, which offers an NEDC range of 102 km per charge. However, the actual range is likely to be under 90-100 km per charge.
Ather Rizta
The Ather Rizta comes with two variants, S and Z. Ather Energy introduced the Ather Rizta S with a 3.7 kWh battery capacity, offering a true range of 125 km per charge in the first week of July 2025. The previous model featured a 2.9 kWh battery capacity, delivering a maximum range of 100 km per charge.
Ather Rizta is a premium electric scooter with a high price range and a large, comfortable seat; that’s why it is considered a family scooter.
