In the last week of July 2025, Kinetic Group launched the New Kinetic DX, priced at Rs. 1.11 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in two variants: DX and DX+. The price of the DX+ is nearly Rs. 1.18 lakh. The design resembles the old Kinetic models, but the question remains: why should we choose this EV in 2025?

The new Kinetic DX features a 2.6 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack, which offers an IDC range of 102 km per charge. However, the actual range is likely to be under 90-100 km per charge. In comparison, the DX+ model provides an IDC range of 116 km per charge, translating to a real-world range of approximately 100 to 105 km per charge. Given that the Kinetic DX has a range of 100 km and is priced at ₹1.11 lakh, this cost seems quite high.
New Kinetic DX Design
Kinetic Dx Design resembles the old kinetic design but is improved with a more attractive color palette and a kinetic logo that captures the eye. It is available in five colors: Black, Red, Grey, White, and Blue.
A 4.8 kW hub-mounted BLDC motor powers the scooter, achieving a maximum speed of 90 km/h. It features cruise control, a digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, and a keyless start system.
Conclusion
Kinetic is a well-established and trusted brand, but there is increasing competition in the electric vehicle (EV) market. A scooter offering a range of 100 km at this price is quite costly; it should ideally provide at least a 150 km range. If you are considering buying this scooter, I recommend waiting for market reviews before making your decision.
