Torque
Torque is a twisting force that tends to cause rotation around an axis or a force that causes machinery, etc. to turn round (rotate), which might be a center of mass or a fixed point.
Torque can also be thought of as the ability of something that is rotating, such as a gear or a shaft, to overcome turning resistance.
Why is it called torque?
The word ‘torque’ generally means the ‘twisting moment’ or ‘turning moment’ and is widely used as an engineering study.
Power
Time rate of doing work or delivering energy, expressible as the amount of work done W, or energy transferred, divided by the time interval t—or W/t.
P = W/∆t
P = Power, W= work, t = time
RPM
The full form of RPM is Revolutions Per Minute. r/min is a unit of frequency the number of full rotations completed in one minute around a fixed axis. It is most commonly used as a measure of rotational speed or angular velocity of some mechanical component.
