Ather Energy has officially confirmed that Ather Community Day 2026 will take place on 29 August 2026 in Bengaluru. The annual event is expected to be one of Ather’s biggest product showcases yet, with a brand-new electric scooter and several technology updates.
Biggest Highlight: New EL Platform Electric Scooter
The main attraction of Community Day 2026 will be the launch of Ather’s first production electric scooter based on the new EL platform. Unlike the premium 450 series, this model is expected to target a wider audience with a more affordable price and improved practicality. Reports suggest the scooter could offer a fresh design, a spacious floorboard, better comfort, and competitive riding range.
More Than Just a Scooter
Ather is also expected to announce new software improvements for existing riders. Possible updates include smarter navigation, refinements to Pothole Alerts, charging enhancements, connected features, and improvements to the Ather ecosystem. While the company has not confirmed every feature, Community Day has traditionally focused on both hardware and software innovation.
